REQUIRED To earn 1.5 CM for this workshop, participants will choose FOUR park case studies, out of the six available, visit each site and consult the podcasts and other materials on each park’s page on this website. Planners visit the parks at their own rate. Those registered for this workshop will have access to the website starting three days before the conference and ending three days after.
OPTIONAL Extra links and a quiz for each park is provided via the “more” link on each main park page.
IN-PERSON GATHERING Bring your conference ID. The follow-up gathering for those who registered for this course will be held at O’Reilly’s pub on 54 W 31st St, New York, NY (see map), MONDAY, May 8, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. This is an opportunity to discuss conclusions and questions from this workshop and meet the narrators of these podcasts.
TWITTER As you participate in this adventure we invite you to share your experience by tweeting with the hashtag #NYCParksWorkshop. Tell us which parks you’ve visited and share photos of your favorite features (including selfies at recognizable locations)! The stream of posts will appear on this site as the conference proceeds.
